The Buddhist religion believes that every human being should be governed by a series of fundamental laws. These are what define both our acts and our personality from the moment we are born. Therefore, it is very important to know them in depth because they can help us to understand much better the world around us.

12 Buddhist laws for your day to day

1. The Law of Cause and Effect

Also known as the 'Great Law', it defends that we must be consistent with our actions since with these will always come a series of consequences. Many of them may be unpleasant. But if we want to be mature and responsible people there will be no other option but to accept them as they come.

2. The Law of Creation

Human beings are part of this macro-world called the universe. Therefore, we have the legitimate right to be part of it. To make it a better place with our creations and inventions without them posing a danger to humanity. All this without mentioning that we must grow and reproduce to leave our personal stamp in the universe.

3. The Law of Humility

Many times we refuse to accept everything that happens around us. We must be more humble and sometimes accept our mistakes. Thanks to this we can forge our character. And so we will become better people. Remember that there is no better way to know oneself than to recognize our own mistakes.

4. The Law of Growth

No matter how old you are or where you are. Grow must be part of your DNA from the precise moment of your birth. We have full control over our life and therefore sometimes there will be no choice but to change to move forward.

5. The Law of Responsibility

We are a true reflection of what we do and feel. Therefore, we have to accept ourselves as we are. This can be one of the great ways to be happy without relying on anyone else.

6. The Law of Connection

Absolutely all the inhabitants of the planet are connected to each other. Everything has an action with its consequent reaction. Therefore, we must always be very careful with what we do. Otherwise we can harm other elements and people, endangering the "balance of the universe".  

7. The Law of Focus

No one has been created to think of two things at the same time. If we do this, we may stray from the main objective that we had originally set, something that can lead us to frustration or long-term anger.

8. The Law of giving kindness with nothing in return

We must always be willing to give the best of ourselves without receiving anything in return. In this way, we get to be happier since sometimes you can not expect the same treatment from everyone. We must be kind and cordial to anyone who crosses our path as the only form of empathy and to make them feel better.

9. The Law of Here and Now

Nothing matters more in the Universe than HERE AND NOW. Many times we lash out too much at problems that have not yet arisen in our lives. Therefore, it is best to focus only on the present.

10. The Law of Change

We must be prepared for any change or setback in our lives. It is no use being lamenting when we face any problem in our day to day. In our power is to change it and through this we will leave many more reinforced as a person.

11. The Law of Patience

Have you heard that Spanish saying that says "Patience is the mother of science "? Well the same thing happens with this Buddhist law. If we are patient with life, it will reward us sooner or later. The best thing is to let everything flow. Otherwise, things may end up in a way that we had planned.

12. The Law of Value and Inspiration

The more positive energy, passion and effort we put at the time of doing anything, the better chances will be that this ends well.
