3 natural shampoo recipes to make at home

When it comes to taking care of your hair effectively, it is always important to opt for products made with 100 percent natural ingredients. And is that although today we can find a huge diversity of different products to wash, condition and care for our hair, not all have only natural ingredients. Therefore it is always important to look at the label of these products, which tells us about the ingredients it contains.

In the case of shampoos, it is a product that we tend to use almost daily, which is used primarily to clean accumulated dirt in the hair, and remove the fat that has been formed by sebaceous glands, skin flakes and other particles pollutants

In the market, as we said, there are shampoos made with natural ingredients. But if you are worried about this last issue, and above all you want to be sure that you only use natural products when it comes to taking care of your hair, we will show you a total of 3 natural shampoo recipes, very easy to make at home. You dare?

Orange, lemon and grapefruit shampoo for oily hair

The cause of the appearance of oily hair is the excessive production of capillary fat. The non-excessive production is normal, since in the roots of the hair we find the sebaceous glands, which cause the secretion of a fatty substance that helps the hair to be soft and healthy, protecting it from dryness and possible breakage.

What do you need?

  • 3 tablespoons of lemon, orange and grapefruit juice (ie 3 for each fruit)
  • Lemon, orange and grapefruit shells
  • 7 tablespoons of grated hard soap
  • Cider vinegar

Steps to make the orange, lemon and grapefruit shampoo

  1. First squeeze the lemon, orange and grapefruit. Reserve your juices
  2. On a plate grate the orange, lemon and grapefruit. Then pinch them.
  3. In a saucepan put some cider vinegar and boil the citrus peels in it.
  4. When boiling extinguishes the fire, cover and let rest 2 hours.
  5. Now strain and add the grated hard soap. Put again on a low heat and stir with a wooden spoon until the soap dissolves.
  6. Add the citrus juices, and continue stirring.
  7. Turn off the heat and let it rest for 24 hours, with the saucepan covered.
  8. Stir it before using it.

Avocado shampoo for dry hair

Unlike oily hair, dry hair is hair that lacks the necessary moisture in order to maintain a proper appearance as well as good health. In most cases this excess dryness is the result of the appearance of seborrhea, and when the hair is kept dry for a long time it can precipitate hair loss.

What do you need?

  • 20 ml. of avocado oil
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 90 ml. of neutral shampoo

Steps to make the avocado shampoo

  1. In a saucepan put the neutral shampoo.
  2. Add the avocado oil and stir well until you get a paste.
  3. When you are going to use, divide the yolk of the egg white. Mix it with 3 tablespoons of shampoo.
