The recipe for hazelnut and cocoa cream What we propose below is a simple but healthier option to learn how to prepare your own cocoa cream. However, if you are vegan or vegetarian in the following section you can find a recipe especially designed for you.


  • 50 gr. of cocoa powder
  • 100 gr. of toasted hazelnuts
  • 45 gr. of sugar
  • 50 gr. of unrefined sunflower oil
  • 100 ml. of whole milk (can be substituted for skimmed milk)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation of cocoa and hazelnut cream:

  1. Put the toasted hazelnuts in the chopper, in the food processor or in the glass of the blender. Grind well until the remaining small pieces turn to powder.
  2. Add sunflower oil, sugar, cocoa powder, milk and vanilla extract.
  3. Go back to beat everything well until you see that all the ingredients have been integrated perfectly. You can continue beating until it becomes a uniform cream and maintain the texture that you like.
  4. Now, to finish, put the cocoa and hazelnut cream in a sealed glass jar and reserve in the refrigerator for 1 or 2 hours, before consuming it. In this way you will get your texture to improve.

  • 50 grams of cocoa powder
  • 100 gr. of toasted hazelnuts
  • 50 gr. of brown sugar
  • 50 gr. of coconut oil (can be replaced by unrefined sunflower oil)
  • 100 ml. of vegetable drink (you can use the one you like the most: soy milk, oat milk, almond milk ...)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


  1. Put the toasted hazelnuts in the blender jar and grind well until they turn into hazelnut powder.
  2. Meanwhile, it is necessary to melt the coconut oil in case it has solidified. To do this, warm it a little in the water bath until it becomes liquid.
  3. Then, once the hazelnuts are ground, add the melted coconut oil, the brown sugar, the cocoa powder, your favorite vegetable drink and the vanilla extract.
  4. Beat everything again until the ingredients are integrated.
  5. To finish, put the cream in a glass jar with airtight seal and let it be stored in the fridge for 1 or 2 hours.
