Easy, quick and fluffy chocolate sponge cake: recipe
Who does not enjoy the taste of a good chocolate cake? Especially if we elaborate it with dark chocolate, since it is one of the best options. It is probably one of the quintessential desserts that we can enjoy at any time of the year and day, either alone or accompanied by a cup of coffee, hot tea or even an ice cream shake if we are in the middle of summer. And it is a classic dessert that not only stands out for its flavor, but also for the delicate and delicious aroma that it gives off when baking it. Yes, we are facing one of my favorite preparations in baking ...
But for a chocolate cake to be delicious in terms of flavor and texture, it is very important that it be a juicy, spongy and moist dessert. That is to say, that it does not turn into a chocolate-flavored mazacote, but rather into a perfect preparation that allows to enjoy all the aroma and flavor of this exquisite natural product and that each bite is more tender if possible.
To make the sponge cake as fluffy and smooth as possible it is very important to mix the ingredients very well with the help of a blender, especially if it is a rod, since this way we will be able to mix the eggs very well with the sugar until a combination is formed as foamy as possible. Do you dare to prepare it? It is very easy and fast, so much so that you are surprised.
How to make a spongy and fast chocolate sponge cake
Ingredients you need:
With the ingredients that we propose below you can make a chocolate cake for about 8 servings.
- 100 gr. of dark chocolate (minimum 55%)
- 100 gr. of unsalted butter
- 100 gr. of white sugar
- 100 gr. Of flour
- 3 eggs (large)
- Half a teaspoon of yeast
- The zest of an orange peel
Preparation of chocolate sponge cake:
Well let's get down to work. First preheat the oven to 180 º C. Put a saucepan over low heat and add the chocolate, stirring constantly to melt both ingredients well. Just when the chocolate begins to melt add the butter, stirring again until a cream forms.
In a large bowl and with the help of a stick blender beat the eggs together with the sugar (it is very important that a frothy mixture forms). Once this is achieved add the butter and chocolate cream, and mix well.
In a separate bowl sift flour and yeast, and mix well. Then incorporate them little by little into the mixture of eggs, sugar, chocolate and butter, stirring constantly (this way you will get the flour to integrate better).
Wash an orange well and with the help of a grater get some scratches from its shell. Add it to the previous mixture and stir again to get it to mix well with the rest of the dough.
Spread a sponge cake with a little butter and sprinkle a little flour on top. Add the biscuit dough with care and bake at 180º C for 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted inside does not come out moist (which will indicate that the cake is made inside).
Ready! You already have the cake ready. You just have to remove it from the oven and let cool before unmolding it. To enjoy!.
Note: If you wish you can decorate with a little icing sugar or even add melted chocolate. ThemesSponge cake recipes
