How to make a good hot chocolate to accompany the Roscón de Reyes

In a previous post in NatureVia we have provided a simple recipe to make a Roscón de Reyes at home. Once the Roscón de Reyes has been prepared, we only need to prepare a good chocolate to the cup to taste it together with the Roscón.

It is so important that the Roscón is rich, and that chocolate also remains exquisite, so this time we present how to make a homemade chocolate, delicate to the palate with which to surprise the family that magical day as it is the day of Kings.

As you know how to prepare the chocolate is very easy, but to get a good chocolate we also have to choose some good ingredients so that our chocolate has a good flavor and be aware while cooking so that we do not get down to the bottom of the cauldron and find Burned.

With the ingredients that we provide in this recipe we will get the amount of chocolate for about 6 people, if we need more quantity we double or adjust the quantities according to the people.

This recipe for chocolate cup we have prepared with whole milk if we would like to make this dessert something more light or light we can substitute whole milk for skimmed milk.

Ingredients:

  • A bag of cocoa powder to cook a 250 gram cup.
  • Liter and a half of whole milk.
  • A whole tablet of special chocolate for dessert.
  • A little ginger powder, (half a teaspoon of coffee)
  • A few drops of natural vanilla extract, (one teaspoon of coffee).
  • A pinch of cardamom, (a pinch with your fingers).
  • Sugar 8 tablespoons.

Elaboration:

We start by heating the milk together with the following ingredients; ginger, cardamom, vanilla and sugar stir well so that the milk is flavored.

While we prepare a saucepan to melt the chocolate bar, we will melt it with soft fire and stir until it is well melted.

Once it is well fused, we remove it from the fire.

This melting process can also be done in the microwave, giving little time to heat and watching so that we do not burn the chocolate, we will only give a heat stroke.

When the milk is hot add the cocoa powder and stir to dilute it well, continue cooking with soft fire and add the melted chocolate, stir to blend well with the cocoa powder.

We bring to a boil and from this moment and until the chocolate achieves the thickness that we want we will not stop stirring to avoid that it will lower us to the bottom and, it will be stuck or burned.

Once the chocolate reaches the desired point, we will remove it from the fire.

We already have our exquisite chocolate to the cup ready.

Now we just need to take it to the table and taste our chocolate accompanied with a good piece of Roscón de Reyes.

From NatureVia we wish everyone a Happy Three Kings Day. ThemesChocolate Christmas Christmas Recipes
