How to make homemade toothpaste

The number of people is increasing, that rather than buying them regularly in supermarkets and beauty shops, they prefer to elaborate at home soaps Y toothpaste, with the added advantage that they actually know the ingredients they use in their preparation (most of them being 100% natural).

What do you need?

  • 4 tablespoons of baking soda.
  • 1 tablespoon of salt.
  • 3 tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide (3%).
  • Aromatic herbs: you can choose between lavender, mint, sage or mint.

Steps to make toothpaste at home

  1. First select the leaves of the plants you are going to use, and chop them very finely. Reservation.
  2. Mix in a bowl the hydrogen peroxide, the baking soda and the salt, stirring well, until the mixture acquires a pasty consistency.
  3. Now is the time to add the chopped herbs.
  4. List! You can reserve it in a small little box.

Although in this recipe we have used lavender, mint, mint or sage, the truth is that you can research for yourself and use the ingredients that you like. For example, you can choose oils instead of herbs, such as peppermint oil, coconut oil or orange oil.
