Is it better to eat the fruit with skin?

There are many benefits of the fruit. Some foods that, as you surely know, are essential and fundamental when it comes to following a healthy and balanced diet that helps us positively to care for and improve our health.

This is mainly because they are rich in vitamins and minerals (nutrients, by the way, essential for our body to function correctly), water and fiber, among others.

Eating fruit with skin, is it more beneficial or not?

Unless your skin is rough or unpleasant, there is no doubt that eating the skin of a fruit (especially depending on the type of fruit, of course), it will be much more beneficial than not consuming it.

This is mainly because the skin is in turn an important source of fiber or vitamins, so the nutritional property of the piece of fruit in question will be even greater once we have consumed it.

In any case, and given that most fruits have been treated with products that protect them against pests and diseases, the fruit must be previously washed very well before being consumed.

Of course, in case you want to also consume the fruit with skin, but do not trust much if it has been well washed or not, the best thing is always to try to buy ecological fruit.
