Flan nougat Jijona

Ingredients:

  • A tablet of Jijona nougat or soft nougat, (250 gr. Or 300 gr.).
  • A small bricks of whipped cream, (200 ml).
  • One liter of whole or skimmed milk
  • A large envelope of powders to make flan (8 units).
  • 3 tablespoons of white sugar
  • Liquid, homemade or industrial caramel (to caramelize the mold).

Elaboration:

We begin by shredding the nougat tablet, either with your hands or with the blender. Crumbled the nougat we will put it in a bowl or bowl and we add the milk, the sugar, the cream, and the flan powder.

We activated the blender arm and beat the ingredients well. We put the obtained mixture in a saucepan or heater to the fire and we go cooking with slow fire until it gets to boil and stirring frequently.

  • 2 glasses of whole or skim milk or 400 ml. milk.
  • Liquid caramel homemade or industrial (to caramelize the mold).

Elaboration:

We crumble the nougat. Once crumbled, put it in a saucepan or heater. We add the cream, milk, sugar and beat with the blender arm.

Once well crushed, add the envelope of curd and stir to integrate well.

Next we put the mixture to the fire and we cook with slow fire, stirring frequently until it thickens a little, about 6 minutes.

Remove the mixture from the fire and pour it over the previously caramelized mold or flanera. We take the flan to the fridge to set for at least 2 hours. Before serving, we will remove it with care.

Fruit nougat flan

Ingredients:

  • A fruit nougat bar of 250 gr. or 300 gr.
  • One liter of whole or skimmed milk
  • One envelope of Royal flan powder for (8 units).
  • A bricks of small cream to cook, (200 ml.).
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar.
  • Liquid industrial or homemade caramel, (to caramelize the mold).

Elaboration:

We extract the nougat from the package and crush it. We can crumble it with our hands or crush it with the blender. Put the nougat crumbled in the blender, add milk, sugar, cream and whisk together.

We add the envelope of flan powder and beat again. Pour the nougat mixture into a saucepan or warmer and put it on the fire.

Cook with low heat until it boils. Once it boils, we put out the fire. Caramelize the bottom and walls of the mold or flanera. Pour the mixture of nougat in the mold and put it in the refrigerator.

Keep the fruit nougat custard in the fridge so that it sets for at least 2 hours. After the time we remove the flan from the fridge and carefully remove it from the mold.
