The greasy hair has the particularity in addition to the discomfort that although we have washed today the next day looks the same, fatty, stuck, heavy with the appearance that has not been washed.

Hair becomes oily when there is an excess in the production of sebum from the sebaceous glands of the scalp. It is normal to have a little fat on the scalp as it is part of the normal process of sebum production.

This sebum is responsible for maintaining healthy hair as well as protecting it. But excess sebum can lead to other problems such as seborrhea or seborrheic dermatitis, dandruff, itching, inflammation of the scalp.

The causes for this production of excessive fat can be several:

  • Unbalanced feeding.
  • Hormonal disorders.
  • Stress, anxiety, fatigue.
  • Some medications, (antibiotics, contraceptives, diuretics.

  • Do not rinse the hair well, leaving residues of products that we use for hair such as foams, hair gums, lacquers.
