Refreshing sorbet recipes

The sorbets (which in fact become delicious Natural refreshments for summer) they become a good option to refresh us in the summer and to be able to pass the heat better, it helps us to hydrate and also they give us the vitamins of their fruits.

One of its advantages and what sets it apart from ice cream is the absence of fat.

We can prepare them at home and have them ready at the time of having dessert, or to refresh ourselves in the afternoons of heat. Due to its high sugar content it is advisable not to consume them daily. A good option would be to substitute sugar for sweetener.

Below we show a series of recipes for different types of sorbets and we encourage you to prepare them very easy to make.

If you can have a sorbetera or refrigerator, it will simplify your work a lot, because after passing it through it you put it directly in the freezer until it is consumed.

Red fruit sorbets

Ingredients

  • 200 grams of raspberries
  • 200 grams of strawberries (or strawberries)
  • 125 milliliters of water
  • 125 gr. of sugar
  • A few leaves of mint or mint
  • Pieces of strawberries or currants to decorate (optional)

Steps to make the red fruit sorbet

Wash the fruits well and chop them, put them in the blender, after crushing them we pass them by a Chinese. Add the sugar and water to the fruit puree. We put the whole mixture in a sorbetera or refrigerator and introduce it in the freezer until it is time to serve it. When we are going to serve it in wide glasses and decorated with mint leaves, they can also be served with a few pieces of strawberries or currants.

Mango Sorbet

Ingredients

  • Half a kilo of mangoes
  • 125 milliliters of water
  • 125 gr. of sugar
  • 1 lemon juice
  • Mints of mint (to decorate)

Steps to make mango sorbet

We wash the mangoes, chop and bone them. With the sugar and water we are making a syrup once done let it cool. In the blender we put the mangoes, the lemon juice, the syrup and crush it to make a puree. We pass it to the refrigerator or sorbetera and then we put it in the freezer until we are going to consume it. When serving, garnish with mint leaves.

Mandarin sorbet

Preparation: 5 mins Total: 5 mins Servings: 1 Calories: 10

Ingredients

  • 650 cl. of fresh tangerine juice
  • 100 milliliters of water
  • 3 sheets of gelatin
  • 300 gr. of sugar
  • Tangerine Gajitos (to decorate)

Steps to make mandarin sorbet

With sugar and water we make a syrup.

We make the juice with the tangerines, we put for a while the leaves of gelatin to soak with quite cold water. When the gelatin is ready, we drain it and mix it with the hot syrup and add the juice of the tangerines, let it cool down. Once cold we introduce it in the refrigerator or sorbetera and we put it in the freezer. It appears very well in wide glasses we can decorate it with some tangerine gajitos.
