We can resort to essential oils that are effective both to repel lice and to eliminate lice once we have become contaminated.

These essential oils are tea tree oil, lavender essential oil, rosemary essential oil and eucalyptus essential oil.

The essential oil that we choose should be mixed with a base oil, we can use sweet almond oil, olive oil, jojoba oil or wheat germ.

We will mix equally.

To use these oils we just need to put the mixture in an opaque glass bottle fitted with an atomizer and spray the hair, also including areas such as the nape of the neck, neck and behind the ears, once a week.

How to make a lavender repellent

  • How to apply the remedy: you just have to strain the infusion and wash your hair with this extract every day, until the lice disappear.

Natural anti lice shampoo

From a natural point of view it is possible to make a natural shampoo with rue. To do it you need: 700 ml. of mineral water, 50 gr. of glycerin soap, 20 gr. of rue, 15 drops of tea tree essential oil, 10 drops of lavender essential oil and 10 drops of thyme essential oil.

To make it, put the water in a saucepan and the leaves of rue, letting it boil for 5 minutes. Then turn off the heat, cover and let rest another 5 minutes. When it is warm add the soap cut into pieces and stir well until it dissolves. Then add the drops of essential oil from the tea tree, lavender and thyme. Reserve in a jar or glass jar.

  • How to apply the remedy: you just have to wash your hair with this natural shampoo, using it daily for 5 days.

Essential oil lotion

There are certain essential oils useful when it comes to fighting lice, which also give off a pleasant aroma during washing. You need 50 ml.of olive oil, 10 drops of rosemary essential oil and 10 drops of lavender essential oil. Put the olive oil and the rest of the essential oils in a bowl, mixing well with the help of a wooden spoon.

Apple vinager

To prepare this remedy we only need:

  • 150 ml. of virgin olive oil.
  • 15 drops of lavender essential oil.

Heat the olive oil with soft fire.

Remove from heat and add drops of lavender essential oil, stir and let warm.

Application:

We moisten the hair, we take the preparation still warm and we apply it on the scalp with gentle massages.

Then we cover our hair with a shower cap or plastic.

We let the preparation work for half an hour.

Then rinse the hair well with warm water.

This preparation is good to apply once a week.
