Why should we travel more: some wonderful reasons
We all pronounce it and we think we know how much it gives us but today we are going to discover the true value of this word. Its etymological origin is found in Catalan. It is born from the word viatge, which in turn comes from Latin "Viaticum"which means road.
So, we could say that traveling is the action and effect of moving to another place by any means of transport. This implies a change in the location of the people. And as we already told you on a previous occasion, in which we told you about traveling is an investment that will last a lifetime, it is an indescribable sensation, a unique opportunity to get to know other places and to marvel at landscapes, buildings or so different customs.
There can be many reasons why a trip is made either for leisure, for a visit to a family, work ... Whether we decide to travel backpacking or if we want to choose tour packages, do we know the effects that have to carry out this action ?
It does not matter if it is abroad or close to home, a couple of days or a month, in autumn or spring, for leisure or work. Our brain and our body will thank us.
It is an experience that takes us out of the routine, yes, the one that we all or many constantly complain about. The new stimuli that we receive when making contact with another culture and city will open us to a world of knowledge without limit: new landscape, new food and new people that probably give us a different thought to the one we have every day.
Traveling strengthens the brain, living new experiences and knowing other languages increases neuronal connections and reinforces the mind. Quite the opposite happens when we live stressful episodes that weaken the neural networks, as highlighted by Sagrario Manzano Palomo, coordinator of the Behavior and Dementia Study Group of the Spanish Society of Neurology.
Traveling offers the possibility of increasing your creativity, exploring you in other places, getting to know you and finding yourself again. An investigation carried out by French and American scientists relates that when traveling creativity and neuronal synapses are increased with adaptation to different cultures.
Travel meets the three key elements to train and stimulate the brain:

- Travel because when a trip ends you will have more desire to return to travel to the next place ... And so feel alive.

It is one of the best gestures of self-love towards you. Some people think it is a waste of time and money but the truth is that what you live is what you take ...
