Turkey to champagne

Yes, the turkey is the traditional dish of these dates. Although the turkey is a fairly tender and healthy meat, the condiments that we usually add is what usually fattens us.

Normally, it takes a lot of sauce with a high caloric content. But, we can always change the original recipe and make one for us.

Ingredients

  • 1 turkey between a kilo and a half to two kilos.
  • 2 glasses of champagne
  • 50/100 g. of butter
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • Lemon
  • 200 g. of ham or serrano ham

Elaboration

It is always better to leave the turkey clean where we buy it because they save us the task of doing it. In any case, it must be well emptied and flamed. Meanwhile, we make a picadillo with ham and butter and we can add lemon to the chicken.

It is vital to sew the turkey so that the stuffing that we will put inside is not left, in this case it will be the ham, but we can also put mushrooms and healthy vegetables.

Place the turkey in a large pot, and surround it with pieces of butter. Then we will put the turkey over high heat in the oven so that it can be browned. After the time just sprinkle with champagne, and let it finish cooking by sprinkling it little by little with the same juice.
