How to prepare 3 natural remedies with sagebrush

Infusion of mugwort for heavy digestions

This infusion gives us its digestive properties in case of having problems to make digestion lighter.

To prepare this infusion we need a teaspoon of dried leaves of mugwort and a cup of mineral water.

We put the water to boil and when it is boiling add the mugwort. Remove from the heat, cover the infusion and let it rest for 10 minutes. We fill the infusion and once it is warm we can take it. We can have a cup 3 times a day.

The infusion will remain with a bitter touch because it contains bitter principles.

If desired with a sweet touch we can put a teaspoon of honey, or a teaspoon of brown sugar, or stevia.

Sagebrush plaster to relieve menstrual pain

Because of its emenagogue and soothing properties the sagebrush plaster is effective in soothing painful menstruations.

We will prepare this poultice with a handful of fresh sagebrush leaves and a cup of water.

Boil the water and put the leaves inside when it begins to boil keeping the boil for 3 minutes. We move away from the fire and drain the water. Then crush the hot leaves, put them on a gauze and apply it under the belly or painful area.

We keep the plaster for half an hour or less if the pain calms down.

Sagebrush decoction to stimulate the appetite

Sagebrush on the other hand is contraindicated in these cases:
