Ingredients:

  • A pinch of salt.
  • Ginger, cloves, nutmeg (to taste) and a pinch of pepper.
  • Cinnamon to taste).
  • Wheat flour (140 grams) + rice flour (60 grams) + A little yeast.
  • Milk.
  • Dates about 150 grs.
  • 2 or 3 eggs.
  • A little butter, no more than 90 grams.
  • 60 grams of dried apricots for the cake and to decorate it.
  • 30 grams of peeled nuts also for the cake and to decorate.
  • 30 grams of almonds.
  • 40 grams of figs.

Elaboration of the cake with nuts:

We will start beating the eggs to add milk and melted butter.

As the oven preheats to 160 degrees, split the nuts and almonds and put them to brown. Be careful, so they do not burn.

We remove the bone from the dates to chop it into cubes with the figs and dried apricots.

We will mix the two types of flour, the yeast, the spices, the salt and all the nuts in a bowl. This will be added to the previously beaten eggs to mix well.

Fill the edges of a butter cake mold and then pour the whole dough. To decorate we will add the leftover nuts. We will bake for about 1 hour.
