Sesame milk: recipe

The sesame benefits (which we could also identify as the benefits of sesame seeds, since it is known in turn with the name of sesame) make it a beneficial seed for our cardiovascular system.

From a nutritional point of view sesame seed is especially rich in omega-3 and omega-6, two essential fatty acids for our body, which provide heart-healthy benefits by helping to lower high cholesterol (especially LDL cholesterol) and triglycerides.

How to make sesame milk

Ingredients

  • 100 gr. of sesame seeds
  • 2 cups of water

Preparation

In a bowl or saucepan put the water and let the sesame seeds rest for at least 8 hours.

When this time has passed, strain the liquid and store it in a cool place, for example in the refrigerator.

You can take advantage of the seeds by adding them to salads or as an ingredient more to your masses, if you make bread or biscuits.
